July 8, 2012 was a day we had been looking forward to. Not only is it the reason that after a year, I can finally come home to Bacolod, but it was also the day our little angels became part of our Christian World.
After weeks of preparation, looking for identical white dresses for christening, making the decors, ordering the baptismal cake, booking the Adoration Chapel at Balay Kalinungan (USLS), deciding on the reception (which ultimately was held at Eloisa Q), the 8th of July came.
The ceremony was short though it began with a funny blooper by us, the new parents LOL. However, the words of the priest still echo in my head. "Remember this day". Yes, this is indeed an important day for us because our daughters are finally Christians. As parents, we are now responsible in rearing them to be God-like, in thoughts, words and actions.
Welcome to the Christian World my little girls. I hope you both grow up to be God-fearing, respectable and compassionate women someday.
