For the New Year, only the three of us: hubby, my cousin and I will be celebrating and meeting the New Year. So, to avoid the smoke and super duper loud noises that come with the New Year, we decided to check in Summit Circle (formerly Midtown Hotel). This used to be an old hotel but recent renovations improved its interiors and amenities a lot.

We had our dinner courtesy of my cousin (thanks Nong!) and anticipated the coming of year 2012 with some food and fruits we brought from our apartment.

And when the clock struck 12 midnight, we had a very simple media noche but a spectacular view of the fireworks at the rooftop of Crowne Regency.

Of course, the 12 fruits for the New Year were still prepared on the table in our apartment even if we did not stay there for New Year's Eve.
